Hello there!
I'm Abdur, 24, proudly South Asian, and a strategy consultant in the City of London. Photography and storytelling are my passions, a creative outlet that complements my corporate career, where I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the world's leading companies.
My mission with ‘Round Roti’ is twofold: to enhance the representation of UK-based South Asians on platforms like TikTok through capturing your essence in high-fashion style photography (think of a Prada runway but a day-in-the-life), and to play a part in transforming perceptions around creative lifestyles within South Asian culture via interviews. And guess what? You’ll be paid for your participation!
In return, I hope to be able to share these photos and videos with you and on social media. This is not just about taking pictures; it’s about sharing your unique experiences and decreasing any stigma associated within UK-based South Asian culture

How to get involved
Step 1: Reach out
Click ‘book me to take part‘ to schedule in a 15-minute call or send me a message via Instagram (@round_roti).
Step 2: Plan the Photoshoot
Once we connect, we'll work together to pick a date for the interview and/or photoshoot. You will be paid for supporting this project.
Step 3: The Photoshoot
On the day of the shoot, it's all about you. I’ll aim to capture photos / conduct the interview within 1-2 hours that reflect your distinct identity as well as ask you about your lifestyle and experiences in London. You’ll receive edited high-fashion style photos and 4K video of the BTS.
Step 4: Sharing the Story
I’ll provide you your photos / videos the next day! In exchange, I ask for the opportunity to share your story on our upcoming TikTok / Instagram platforms (@round_roti).
Step 5: Stay Connected
As we begin to scale our reach, we will reach out to you again to participate in the project.
